5 Healthy Foods That Give You Energy In Acting

It’s important for actors to eat healthy foods that provide energy.  Maintaining the audition grind or working in rehearsals and different projects can get pretty intense. Actors need a good source of nutrition to prevent burn out.

The following list contains terrific energy foods you can draw upon to help give you a healthy boost when you need it most.

Carbs are considered the body’s primary source of energy.  Having a good dish of whole grains is sure to give you the strength you need throughout your day.

Yogurt is a great grab and go snack.  It produces a quick protein boost and contains lactose which helps to elongate the time your energy boost will last.

A nice handful of strawberries can certainly add value to your energy.  Strawberries contain a natural sugar and contains fiber.

You can usually find one of those small containers of hummus with a side of vegetables at your local store.  Chickpeas have carbs and protein and can go with a combination of other foods to give you that extra kick.

Almonds are great because they contain B-vitamins, folate and niacin which convert extremely well into energy.

Having these different foods as part of your energy plan can give you that extra something on low energy days, helping you focus on your acting work rather than combatting fatigue.
