Nike released a new Just Do It campaign video that has picked up major steam and gone viral.
One of the main factors that helped push the video to grow in popularity, came from Deepika Padukone. The Indian born actress is featured in the video and had this to say when posting it on her Facebook feed.
At the time of this writing the video has amassed 2 million video plays, already showing a strong sign from women interested in sports. Another crucial factor at play is the potential Nike’s expansion in emerging markets such as India reveals.

This, coming at a time when Nike has been developing ways to grow their brand on Indian soil. It appears that the apparel company may have tapped into a lucrative possibility, not only in a country they have long been interested for expansion, but also the fact that they are creating a powerful interest in women athletics.
In addition to featuring Padukone, the video also features some of the best names from the sporting world such as Rani Rampal (Hockey), Smriti Mandhana (Cricket), Ishita Malviya (Surfer), Shubhalakshmi Sharma (Cricket), Shweta Hakke (Sprinter), Harmanpreet Kaur (Cricket), Tanvi Hans (Football), Jyoti Ann Burrett (Football) and Joshana Chinappa (Squash).
Featuring players from different sports, the video encourages and empowers woman in India and around the world to play sports.
What the video below demonstrates best, is not the hype about how great Nike is but rather the feeling of what Nike makes you believe is possible within you.
