Posters

In this monologue, Charlene had her poster torn apart by her brother and she complains to her Mother.

CHARLENE: Moooooom! Moooooom! (beat) (to her brother) MATTHEW, stop it! Stop—-(beat) Ma—MOM!!! Matthew keeps pulling my posters off my wall and he, he tore my favorite poster!

(she sulks)

He tore the one Daddy bought me yesterday…(to her brother) You’re so stupid! (to her mother) He ripped the bottom part of it—it’s ruined!

(beat)

My whole poster, I don’t even want it now.  I don’t even want my poster, now. He’s so mean to me, Mom.

(she hold up the torn poster to show her Mother)

Look, look at my poster. He destroyed the whole thing.
